Power BI – as the name it self explanatory, this is an Business Intelligence Tool which help making any decisions,
If Charts can help, good, but I think we can go beyond the Visuals of the Chart and can go deep into Analysis or can get this tool working to make any futuristic model or any predictive analysis or etc.
It is not just the pretty face or visuals but scalable enough to dig more insight out of it.
Again these are my immature thoughts as a beginner, I hope someone can definitely chime in with better and deep understanding of Power BI
Thank you,
Muhammad

Excel and Power BI work well together. This allows you to use the two tools together to provide for many types of business workflow and BI practices. You can publish an Excel file to Power BI to share with others, analyse a Power BI dataset in Excel or import either an Excel workbook or Excel data to Power BI.

Power BI and Excel both work well.
Power BI is good for chart creation but the only single edge that Power BI has over Microsoft excel is the quality of data visualization.
The visualization of charts in Power BI is like the cherry on top.
